In line with Egypt's national strategy to enhance investment opportunities for Egyptian expatriates, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has launched the first phase of premium residential units across 13 projects in various cities.

Engineer Sherif Shurbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced that the ministry has launched a distinctive residential offering under the "Your Home in Egypt" initiative, marking the first step in a series of offerings designed to meet the diverse needs of Egyptians abroad.

The minister added that the new housing programme is consistent with the political leadership's guidance to give all real estate investment options for Egyptian expats, including competitive advantages, streamlined contractual procedures, and simplified payment methods. He also stated that the ministry has studied the preferences and preferences of Egyptians living abroad, with the first phase providing unique prospects in housing units that fulfil a variety of needs across economic ranges.

The minister stated that the scheme offers the most extensive and diversified choice of luxury residential alternatives, with 5,055 units spread over 13 projects in nine locations. The effort is designed to appeal to people of all income levels, as well as social and economic backgrounds. He highlighted that the first phase comprises both units that are ready for immediate handover and those that would be turned over by the end of 2025.

Engineer Shurbini pointed out that the first phase of housing units will begin in February 2025, offering a diverse selection of projects covering major new cities across various governorates.

The offering includes a range of unit and villa sizes across the following projects: the "Arabesque" project in Cairo with units ranging from 125 to 179 square metres, the third residential district (R3) in the New Administrative Capital, with unit sizes ranging from 114 to 173 square metres in neighbourhood D2, and from 161 to 392 square metres in the same area. It also includes the fifth residential district "New Garden City" in the New Administrative Capital, with units ranging from 79 to 344 square metres, and the "Madinaty" project in New Cairo with units from 96 to 178 square metres. Additionally, the "Valley Towers East" project in New Obour features units ranging from 89 to 116 square metres.

Other projects include "Saba" in 6th of October City with units ranging from 95 to 141 square metres, "Valley Towers" in October Gardens with units from 95 to 101 square metres, and the "Bliss Gates" project in Sheikh Zayed with units from 80 to 220 square metres. The offering also includes the Beach Front Towers in New Alamein, with duplexes ranging from 215 to 678 square metres, the Latin Quarter in New Alamein, with units from 95 to 250 square metres, and the "Zahya" project in New Mansoura, offering modern and classic villas with sizes ranging from 360 to 504 square metres.

The housing units and villas come with luxurious finishes across all projects.
The Ministry of Housing, through its affiliated bodies, including the New Urban Communities Authority, has finalised an agreement with Banque Misr to implement remote electronic payment methods to ensure easy procedures and secure financial transactions. Payments for the housing units and booking deposits can be made in US dollars for all Egyptians abroad. The Ministry is committed to providing all necessary facilities to enable everyone to benefit from the exceptional opportunities available in this phase.

The Ministry of Housing is also preparing to launch a global marketing campaign to ensure the best competitive opportunities for the country's premium real estate projects.

The campaign will include announcements about all selection, allocation, and contracting procedures, which are currently being designed using the latest global methods, relying on artificial intelligence to facilitate the reservation system and streamline contract processes for applicants.

The Ministry is working with the New Urban Communities Authority to establish a high-tech, interactive website that will facilitate online shopping, allowing Egyptians abroad to explore projects, understand the specific benefits of each one, view available units, and take a virtual tour before making a purchasing decision. The website will be launched in preparation for the opening of units for reservation and allocation starting from February 15, 2025.
