CAIRO – 1 December 2024: The weather is getting cooler as we ease into winter, with a bit of rain on the horizon. So, soak up those cool, breezy days before they turn downright chilly.

Thinking about a getaway? South Sinai is calling, especially Sharm El-Sheikh, a hotspot for winter vacationers worldwide. Right now, it's all sunny and warm there, with highs hitting 25 degrees Celsius and lows of 16.

Over in Saint Catherine in Sinai, it's a whole different story - perfect for those who love the cold. Nights are expected to be bone-chilling at around 2 degrees, while days will hover around 16 degrees.

Hurghada on the eastern coast is looking pretty pleasant too, with daytime temps reaching 24 degrees and nights cooling down to 17 - ideal for holiday hunters.

And if you're up for a day trip, Ain Sokhna could be your tranquil haven. Suez is looking at highs of 22 and lows of 12 on Sunday, much like Cairo.

As for rain, no need to fret - just some light showers expected in the northern coast and Nile Delta.

If you're hitting the road, watch out for morning mist on rural and waterfront highways. Keep your distance, drive slow, and flick those lights on for safety.

For the week ahead, Cairo is looking at highs of 22 and lows of 13; the northern coast will see highs of 21 and lows of 12; northern Upper Egypt will hit highs of 22 and freezing lows of 7; and southern Upper Egypt will bask in highs of 25 and lows of 11.
