Egypt elected head of executive office of Arab water ministerial council for 2024/2025

CAIRO – 26 November 2024: The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation announced electing Egypt as head of the executive office of Arab water ministerial council for 2024/2025.

This comes within the framework of the participation of Irrigation Minister Hany Suwilam in the meetings of the 16th round of the council of Arab water ministers.

Before the ministerial meeting, meetings of the consultative scientific technical committee of the council of Arab water ministers were held in Jordan for three days.a

The meetings discussed a work plan for the Arab water security strategy and cooperation in the field of using joint waters in addition to following up on the implementation of the development Development Plan 2030 concerning water.
