Jordanian army foils smuggling and infiltration bids from Syria

AMMAN - 24 July 2017: The Jordanian army foiled Sunday a smuggling and three infiltration attempts from Syria to the kingdom, an official military source in the general command of the Jordanian armed forces said Monday.

In a statement, the general command of Jordanian armed forces said that infiltrators retreated into Syrian borders after clashing, adding that four bags containing different kinds of drugs in addition to personal weapons have been seized and referred to the bodies concerned
