CAIRO – 17 September 2024: President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi received Tuesday a phone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan as they conferred over the updates of regional affairs, precisely Gaza Strip and other Palestinian territories.

The president and the king exchanged views on pacification efforts, reiterating rejection to attempts aimed at the liquidation of the Palestinian Cause, and making Palestinian territories unlivable in order to displace Palestinians. The two heads of state also underlined the salience of ending the war in Gaza immediately, and in turn, the humanitarian suffering of its residents.

President Sisi and King Abdullah II similarly warned about the risks pertaining to the persistence of the Gaza War, rise in violations in the West Bank, and expansion of the scope of conflict in the region, which would in turn undermine international peace and security.
