Running Marathon launches in New Alamein Festival

CAIRO - 24 August 2024: A running marathon was launched in the entertainment area on the New Alamein City Corniche, as part of the activities of the New Alamein Festival.

 

The marathon, which bears the name Alamein Run, was launched with a huge participation, and was organized by the United Media Services (UMS) Company in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports.

 

The New Alamein Festival witnesses a great diversity in its activities held throughout Friday, between singing and entertainment, theatrical performances, and martial arts competitions, in addition to the running marathon and the cycling marathon.

 

The audience of El Alamein and theater lovers had an appointment to attend two distinctive theatrical performances, the first of which is the play "The Bank Was Robbed", starring the star Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, which started showing Thursday at the "U Theater", and will continue until Saturday.

 

The events of the play "The Bank Was Robbed" revolve around a comedic framework about a dangerous criminal escaping from prison, after which he plans to steal a precious stone from the bank.

 

The "U Arena" Theater hosts a special concert, by the famous "Cairokee" band, during which they will present a distinctive bouquet of their songs that the audience will interact with, in addition to the participation of the masked performer Tul8te for the first time at the beginning of the concert and his presentation of a group of his songs that have gained the audience's interaction over the past days.
