CAIRO – 4 August 2024: Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif is set to conduct a press conference on Tuesday to announce the results of the final exams for Thanaweya Amma (Grade 12 of the national high school system) for the academic year 2023/2024.
Shadi Zalata, the official ministry spokesperson, highlighted that the results will be disclosed following the completion of all correction procedures, result validations, and the application of any grace marks.
During the press briefing, the minister will also reveal the top performers in the exams.
This year, a total of 745,086 students have enrolled in Thanaweya Amma, with these students now eagerly awaiting the pivotal results of the final exams.
Thanaweya Amma exams are definitely stressful for students and parents alike, given the competition for faculties that require high grades in the science and literature branches.
Throughout the year, students, supported by their parents, work diligently to achieve the highest possible grades, even during holidays and festive occasions.
They often sacrifice sleep, staying up late at night to revise page after page, all in pursuit of their dreams of being admitted to their desired colleges.
This year, the Thanaweya Amma exams started on June 10 and continued until July 17 for science and literature branch students, and July 20 for mathematics students.
