CAIRO – 18 July 2024: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expats Badr Abdel Aty is heading Thursday to Amman to hold consultations with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safady and inspect consular work at the Egyptian embassy.

The Jordanian Armed Forces conducted three airdrops of relief and humanitarian aid, targeting multiple locations in the southern Gaza Strip, the Jordanian News Agency reported on Monday.

The landings included relief and humanitarian aid to support the people in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip.

Two aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force and one aircraft belonging to Egypt participated in the airdrop operation.

The Jordanian Armed Forces confirm that they are continuing to send humanitarian and medical aid via an air bridge, to be delivered via aid planes from Amman Civil Airport (aka Marka Airport) towards Al-Arish International Airport, or through airdrops on the Gaza Strip, or ground aid convoys, to help the people in the Gaza Strip overcome the situation.

The number of airdrops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip reached 117, and other 266 airdrops in cooperation with friendly countries.
