Libya’s House speaker meets head of Supreme Council of State in Cairo

CAIRO – 8 November 2023: Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, meet on Wednesday with the President of the Libyan Supreme Council of State in Cairo.

According to al Qahera news channel, the meeting discussed the current Libyan situation.

The two officials expressed their willingness to play their role in ending the current political division in Libya.

The meeting comes within the framework of ongoing consultation between the Libyan Houses and Supreme Council of State regarding the Libyan crisis.
