Mahmoud Abbas arrives in Cairo to participate in Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian tripartite summit

CAIRO – 12 August 2023: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will arrive in Cairo on Sunday to participate in the work of the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian tripartite summit, announced Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab Al-Louh in a statement on Saturday.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi invited Abbas to participate in the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian tripartite summit that will be attended by Jordanian King Abdullah II in the city of El Alamein, Al- Louh added.

The three leaders will discuss the political, regional and international issues and efforts taken to put an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people and achieve their legitimate national rights to establish their independent and fully sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Palestinian Ambassador expressed his thanks to Egypt and President for hosting this summit and its appreciated endeavors to support the Palestinian people.
