Egypt, Jordan discuss fostering security relations

CAIRO – 13 July 2023:  Egypt’s Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik received on Thursday his Jordanian counterpart Mazin Hilal Al Farrayeh and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed means of fostering cooperation as well as the latest developments concerning security issues of mutual concern.

Farrayeh stressed his country’s keenness to cooperate and exchange expertise with the Egyptian law enforcement authorities in all security domains.

He hailed the technical, scientific and training capabilities of the Egyptian security authorities.

Meanwhile, Tawfik underlined the importance of cooperating and exchanging expertise in security fields of mutual concern as well as cooperating to face and eliminate terrorism and organized crime and counter all security challenges posed by the current developments in the regional and international arenas.
