CAIRO – 17 July 2017: The Saudi Arabian Cabinet endorsed the resolutions approved by the Arab Information Ministers’ Council in its 48th session in Cairo, the Saudi state-owned news agency SPA said on Monday. The Cabinet stressed Arab unity against terrorism and sources of funding for such groups as a prime necessity.
The SPA agency released a statement asserting the Arab quartet’s stance which demands Qatar abide by their list of 13 demands. Qatar has rejected the demands.
The statement also condemned the Israeli closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday. The Saudi Cabinet called on the international community to take more serious measures to stop such aggressive procedures by Israeli authorities.
The statement also condemned recent terrorist attacks in Egypt and Pakistan.
