Egypt's Presidential pardon committee finalizes measures to release 30 prisoners

CAIRO – 15 November 2022: The presidential pardon committee announced Tuesday finalizing measures to release 30 prisoners held in pre-trial detention in accordance to the committee's regulatory laws.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the committee asserted that it would continue its work to release more prisoners and merge them into the society.

It also noted that coordination is underway with the various state bodies topped by Prosecution and the Interior Ministry to release the detainees.
