Egypt to witness wave of unstable weather conditions starting Friday

CAIRO – 14 February 2022: Egypt is expected to witness a wave of unstable weather conditions starting Friday February 18, until Sunday, February 20 according to the Meteorological Authority.

It indicated that the state of instability in the weather conditions will be accompanied by rain of varying intensity and a decrease in temperatures with wind activity that will lead to disruption of maritime navigation.

Earlier in January, Egypt witnessed similar and frequent waves of cold weather.

Director of the Forecasting Unit at the Egyptian General Authority of Meteorology Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen stated that Egypt is affected by airmasses resulted from storms that took place during the past days, denying that Egypt is witnessing any storms coming from abroad.
