Orphans Day
Egypt’s First Lady Entissar Amer stressed the right of orphans to receive care and social protection as she marked the Orphans Day celebrated annually in April on the national level.
A symposium, in which Director General of the General Administration of Historic Cairo Dalia el-Gohary will speak, will be held.
The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture will open various public gardens across the country for free as part of celebrations for Orphans Day which falls on the first Friday of April, Youm7 reported Wednesday.
The Museums of Islamic Arts and Textile in Cairo are hosting a special celebration for Orphans Day on April 6, including museum tours and workshops.
