Catalan leader Quim Torra relaunched a campaign to split his region from Spain on Tuesday.
Catalonia's parliament is set to vote on Saturday on whether to appoint as regional president Quim Torra, handpicked by deposed leader Carles Puigdemont.
"As president, I demand the Spanish government and those who support it... restore all they have expropriated from the Catalans without their say-so," Puigdemont said.
