Egypt is the only country in the Middle East whose economy has withstood the Corona pandemic at positive growth rates, as it took positive steps to support tourism, according to UN Resident Coordinator in Egypt Elena Panova.
“For us, in the UN, it is extremely important that the Egyptian government succeed in improving rural livelihoods, and we will be by the side of the government to achieve this goal,” said UN’s Elena Panova to Egypt Today.
