CAIRO-14 December 2020: Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s Egyptian winger, scored a late goal from the penalty spot against Fulham to secure a 1-1 draw for the Premier League defending champions.

The Egyptian International winger scored his 10th goal in the Premier League this season, and his 85th in the Premier League, to beat former Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 84 goals.

Salah’s goal scoring ratio is 0.6 goals per game as he scored 85 goals after 132 matches in the league while Ronaldo’s 84 goals were scored in 196 matches.

Salah’s goal pulled a draw for the Reds, who were behind after 25 minutes as Bobby Decordova-Reid opened the score for the hosts.

“I think in the first half hour we could have lost the game, in the last 60 minutes we should have won it. In the end we get a point and that’s it.” Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, said after the match.

Liverpool missed a chance to solely top the Premier League table and they are now sharing the lead with Tottenham Hotspur at 25 points.

Liverpool fans aim to see a different performance when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night in the league.
