CAIRO _ 29 February 2020: Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez, believes that Barcelona new signing, Martin Braithwaite, is going to shine at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona signed the Danish player to replace the injured Suarez, who is expected to miss the rest of the season for injury.
"Martin is going to surprise people. He is at a great level.He was the best player Leganes had and, with the players he has around him at Barcelona, he can reach his potential." Suarez said on Saturday.
The Danish striker is expected to take part in the biggest game of the season, El Clasico, scheduled on Sunday night in Madrid.
Braithwaite proved his worth and his ability to help the Catalans as he provided two assists in Barcelona's 5_0 win over Eibar at the league.
Suarez added "Bringing in players is good because it makes it more competitive and you're fighting more for your place. Competition is healthy and for the good of the team."
Barcelona are leading the league table with two points ahead of Real Madrid and the Catalans aim to achieve the victory in Madrid to take more steps towards achieving their third league title in a row.
