CAIRO - 19 June 2017: Ismail Youssef, director of the football sector in Zamalek Club, criticized the “offensive” performance of his team because of the loss of easy scoring opportunities in recent matches, in private statements to Super Kora on Sunday.

"We get a lot for the opponent but we miss the goals in a strange way, maybe it's because of the lack of focus from the players," Youssef said.

The former football manager said the team's attackers need to increase their focus in front of the goal to exploit the “half-chances,” which may not be available in many difficult matches.

Zamalek is preparing to face USM Alger on Wednesday in the fourth round of the African Champion League, which will be held July 5 in Algeria.

Zamalek are at the top of Group B with five points, followed by USM and Ahli Tripoli in second and third place with 4 points. CAPS United are fourth with 3 points.
