CAIRO – 8 November: The international media praised the amazing organisation of Africa U-23 Cup of Nations opening ceremony organised by Presentation Company headed by acclaimed marketing expert Montasser Al Nabarawy.
The famed Egyptian band Sharmoofers, the Egyptian singer Nesma Mahgoub rock out at the first part of the dazzling opening ceremony, while the second part witnessed an amazing fireworks show.
The fascinating opening ceremony was strongly admired by FIFA and CAF officials.
The Africa U-23 Cup of Nations is taking place in Egypt between 8 and 22 November. The tournament, qualifying for 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Egypt national team was drawn in Group A alongside Mali, Cameroon and Ghana in Group A.
Egypt football appeared at the Olympic Games 11 times before. Their best achievement was taking the fourth place in 1928 in Amsterdam and 1964 in Tokyo.
Egypt’s last participation at the tournament was in 2012 in London and the national team was eliminated from the competitions at the quarter finals after losing to Japan.
It is worth mentioning that Tazakarti company was established to supervise all the marketing and organizing of the Africa Cup tournament, shortly after the FAN ID system was introduced to all the fans whether they are Egyptians, Arabs or Africans who want to support their team during the tournament.
