CAIRO, 9 October 2019:The Egyptian Football Federation decided to transfer the match of Egypt's first team against Botswana scheduled for next Monday to the stadium of Borg El Arab instead of Cairo Stadium.

The FA received verbal requests from security to transfer the match, which was agreed to be transferred to the Borg El Arab.

El Badry led the Egyptian national team in their first training at Cairo stadium on Tuesday night.

Egypt national team manager, Hossam El Badry, will start is mission against Botswana on 14 October at Cairo Stadium.

The manager decided to rule Mohamed Salah out of the friendly clash to rest him while he did not include any of the U-23 players at his list as they prepare for AFCON U-23 competition which will be played in Egypt next November.

El Badry added new faces who were not included at the national team list for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt last summer like Abdullah Gomaa, Mohamed Awwad, Hussein El Shahat, Amr El Solia, Mohamed MagdyAfsha and HmadyFathy.

The national team squad consisted of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Mohamed Awwad, Mohamed Bassam, Ahmed Fathy, RagabBakkar, Mahmoud Alaa, BaherElmohamady, Ayman Ashraf, Ahmed Hegazi, Gomaa, Mohamed Hamdy, HamdyFathy, El Solia, El Shahat, Afsha, Omar Gaber, Mohamed Elneny, TarekHamed, Abdullah El Said, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Hossam Hassan, Omar El Said and Amed Hassan Koka.

El Badry was appointed as Egypt national team new manager to succeed the sacked Mexican manager, Javier Aguirre, as Egypt was eliminated from the 2019 AFCON round of 16 at home after losing to South Africa 1-0.
