CAIRO - 5 July 2019: Egypt's Marwan Mohsen participated in the training session on Thursday in the Pharaohs' preparations for the 2019 African Cup of Nations 16th round against South Africa on Saturday.

Al-Ahly’s player had individual exercises in the past two days as he felt stressed, while his teammate Ahmed Hassan "Koka" had different exercises due to his injury.

Egypt’s striker, Ahmed Hassan known as Koka, suffered a serious ankle injury during Egypt’s 2-0 victory over Uganda at the last round of the group stage.

Egypt qualified from Group A with 9 points after 3 victories against Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.

The star Mohamed Salah missed the training session on Thursday after suffering a cold and the coaching staff preferred to give him rest.

Egypt have to take a tough route for the Final match. If we beat South African, the Pharaohs will face Nigeria and Cameroon. And then Algeria will be, possibly, waiting for us in the semi-final.
