CAIRO –10 June 2017: “Messi will be best in world until he retires,” said the new Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli after his win over Brazil. In an International friendly game between Brazil and Argentina yesterday, there was one only goal. The Brazil defender Gabriel Mercado was unable to reply, according to Goal website.

Before the match Sampaoli said that Messi has been playing collectively in Barcelona as part of the team which made the comparison between Messi with Barcelona and with Argentina very clear, and added “we don’t want him to be playing in an isolated manner, we want him to play collectively.” The World Games website reported.

Messi scored 58 goals for Argentina in 117 occasions. Argentina went on to win six games in their qualifying matches for the Russia 2018 World cup. The two time World Cup team will play another 4 games in the qualifying stage against Uruguay on August 31, Venezuela on September 5, Peru on October 5, and Ecuador on the following October 10, according to BBC Sport
