CAIRO, 28 February 2019: Egyptian Olympic football team manager, Shawky Ghareeb, assured that he will include Al Ahly’s player, Ramadan Sobhy, in the Olympic team’s squad during their camp in Spain this month.

Ramadan Sobhy was excluded from the list chosen by Egyptian national team’s manager, Javier Aguirre, as the Egyptian team will face Niger in 2019 AFCON qualifications and the friendly match against Nigeria.

“I informed Ramadan that if he wasn’t called for the National team duty, he will join us in the next Olympic camp,” Shawky Ghareeb said to Number One program.

“Ramadan Sobhy is the Olympic team’s captain alongside important players like Naser Maher, Karim Nedved and Akram Tawfik,” Ghareeb added.

The Olympic team is scheduled to play two friendly matches in March against the United States and the Netherlands.
