Mohamed Salah joins Liverpool for £40m; reports

CAIRO – 31 May 2017: International footballer Mohamed Salah has reportedly got signed to English Premier League fourth-placed Liverpool F.C. according to Paul Joyce, a sports correspondent to Times.

Joyce, moreover, said that Liverpool F.C allocated as much as £40 million ($51 million) to sign Salah, who currently plays as a winger for AS Roma.

Only ten days ago, Salah previously acknowledged that Liverpool officials are interested in signing him in the coming summer transfer window.

Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, followed Liverpool F.C official twitter account and reportedly boarded a flight to London on Tuesday to finalize the deal with the English club.

The 24-year-old footballer had previously turned down Liverpool’s offer back in 2014 before playing for Chelsea.
