CAIRO - 6 June 2018: Egypt will face Belgium on Wednesday night at the last game before heading to Russia to participate at the 2018 World Cup.

Egyptian fans will play the national team play with one of the World Cup title contenders to assure their preparation for the tournament.

Egypt has had a great history against the European giants as they faced each other three times and Egypt won all the three games.

The first game was in 1920 in Belgium, where Egypt won 4-2. The second game was in 1999 and Egypt won 1-0, while the third game was in 2005 and Egypt won 4-0.

Egypt national team manager, Hector Cuper, is expected to start the game with the line-up that will play the first game in Russia.

Egypt’s expected line-up for the game consists of:

Goalkeeper: Essam el-Hadary

Defenders: Mohamed Abdel Shafy, Ahmed Fathi, Ali Gabr and Ahmed Hegazi

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Mohamed el-Neny, Abdullah el-Said

Strikers: Mahmoud Hassan known as Trezeguet, Ramadan Sobhi and Marwan Mohsen.

The World Cup draw put Egypt in Group A alongside Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia while Belgium plays in Group G alongside England, Tunisia and Panama.

The game starts at 8:45 p.m. (CLT).
