CAIRO – 30 April 2018: Al-Ahly head coach Hossam el-Badry has presented to the club’s football committee his report containing his needs for the new season. The report will be studied before serious negotiations with the requested players are entered into.

Badry requested urgently signing five new players: Mohamed Magdy, known as Afsha (Enppi); Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City); Mohannad Lashien (Alasyouty); Abdallah Bakry (Smouha); and Mohamed Hamdy (Al-Masry).

Al-Ahly’s football committee is scheduled to hold an important meeting after Mahmoud El-Khateb, president of Al-Ahly, returns from his therapeutic journey abroad, in order to discuss with him Badry’s requests and start negotiations immediately on the accepted players.

It is worth mentioning that Sobhi has announced his desire to continue his career in Europe for the foreseeable future, assuring that if he decided to leave Europe, however, then Al-Ahly would be his only destination. Sobhi had previously apologized to Al-Ahly when asked to rejoin the team, owing to his desire to continue in Europe.
