CAIRO – 30 August 2017: On August 30, thieves entered Arsenal’s next to the Emirates Stadium and robbed Arsenal’s shop.

According to Sky Sports a police spokesperson said following the robbery,
"Police in Islington were called to Emirates Stadium at 23:27hrs on Tuesday, 29 August following reports of a burglary at a commercial premise.

"Officers attended and found that the front of the Arsenal FC store had been broken into and a large quantity of merchandise had been stolen. Enquiries are ongoing.

"Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. You can also tweet information via @MetCC."

On the other hand, Arsenal’s officials stated via a spokesperson, “Thankfully no staff were in the shop at the time so there were no injuries. We're taking police advice as to when we can re-open and begin repairs,” citing from Sky Sports.

It is good to mention that Arsenal FC are currently in a tough situation losing 2 of the 3 games they played in the 2017/2018 English Premier League season with the last loss being a 4-0 humiliation from Liverpool FC.
