CAIRO – 16 August 2017: The Egyptian National Team’s technical staff led by the Argentinean manager Hector Cuper selected 15 Egyptian players on August 16 to join Egypt’s camp on August 21 ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The players are to prepare for the two matches set against Uganda on August 31 and September 5 in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Cuper chose the following Egyptian players to enter the private camp on August 21:

Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Fathy, Abdallah el-Saied, Hossam Ashour, Saad Samir, Salah Gomaa, Ayman Ashraf, Ahmed el-Sheikh and Ramy Rabea from Al-Ahly SC.

From Zamalek SC, Cuper chose Ahmed el-Shenawy, Ali Gabr and Tarek Hamed.

Hossam Hassan (Smouha SC), Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Fathy (Ismaily SC) were also chosen to join the camp.

Cuper selected on August 10 the following International players to join the camp: Essam al-Hadary, Mostafa Fathy (AlTaawoun SC), Mohamed Abdel Shafy (Ahly Jeda SC), Ahmed Hegazy (West Bromwich Albion), Mohamed al-Neny (Arsenal FC), Ramadan Sobhy (Stoke City FC), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool FC), Omar Gaber (FC Basel), Ahmed Koka (Sporting Braga FC), Mahmoud Kahraba (Ittihad Jeda SC), Karim Hafez (Lens SC), Mahmoud Trezeguet (Kasimpasa SC), Sam Morsy (Wigan Athletic) and Ahmed al-Mohamady (Aston Villa FC).
