CAIRO – 10 August 2017: Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte spoke on 9 August ahead of Chelsea’s first match in the league against Burnley on August 12.

Conte spoke to Sky Sports about whether or not he will make any more transfers, his opinion on selling Matic, and his opinion about Chelsea’s newcomer Alvaro Morata.
Conte said, "I hope to be able to improve our squad. The transfer market is not finished. We want to be competitive and we want to fight for the title again. The club knows my priorities,” reporting from Sky Sports.

Conte continued, "Matic knows very well what I think about him." He also said, “It is important for me to talk about this player, who is a really good player, a top player, very important for our team, but sometimes you must accept this crazy transfer market. And sometimes you must accept different decisions. But, he is a great loss for us,” citing from Sky Sports.

Chelsea’s manager concluded, "Alvaro is a really good player, he's still young despite having a lot of experience. He needs to play regularly, he's a player I trust a lot. I think he has good prospects for Chelsea - for now and the future,” according to Sky Sports.
It is worth mentioning that Antonio Conte managed to win the 2016/2017 Premier League trophy with Chelsea in his first season at the club.
