CAIRO – 6 August 2017: Chelsea FC is set to play against Arsenal FC on August 6 over the Community Shield trophy at Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea will be entering the match as the champions of the English Premier League for last season. The Blues Chelsea will be looking for revenge over the last match against Arsenal when they lost with a 2-1 score. Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, will also use this match as an opportunity to test his final formation before the start of the league next week.

On the other hand, the FA Cup champions Arsenal FC will play the match looking for their second consecutive victory against Chelsea. Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, will be looking to start with some of Arsenal’s new players in order to make sure that they adapted well with the team. The Egyptian defensive midfielder Mohamed el-Neny is expected to appear on Arsenal's bench with a possibility of receiving some play time at the end of the match.

It is good to mention that the last match between Arsenal and Chelsea in the Community Shield was on 2015 and it ended with a 1-0 victory scored by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
