CAIRO – 4 August 2017: Al Ahly attacker Amr Gamal promised to raise South African club Bidvest Wits FC’s financial offer to sign a contract with the club during the current summer transfer period on loan for one season.

The South African club asked to loan Amr Gamal for one season free of charge. Al Ahly officials refused the offer and confirmed that it’s not logical to allow the attacker of a great club like Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team to leave for free.

Amr Gamal talked to Al Ahly officials during the past hours about the South Africans’ willingness to make a suitable financial offer for the Egyptian player.

The Egyptian player insists on leaving due to not relying on Hossam el-Badry, the technical coach, after signing with Moroccan player Waleed Azaru.

The Red Castle team confirmed to Amr Gamal that they are waiting for an official offer with a good financial deal that could be negotiated to complete the deal.
