CAIRO, June 1, 2026: The Egyptian national team has officially kicked off its preparations in Ohio, USA, under the guidance of head coach Hossam Hassan and his twin brother Ibrahim Hassan, ahead of a highly anticipated friendly clash against Brazil.

Training took place at the Cleveland Browns Campus, where players began with fitness and warm-up drills before moving into tactical exercises and technical sessions, ending with a mini-match and finishing practice in front of goal.

Egypt is set to face Brazil in the early hours of next Sunday in what will be the team’s second and final friendly before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Khaled El-Darandly, Vice President of the Egyptian Football Association and head of the national team delegation in the United States, was also present during the training session.

The Pharaohs head into the Brazil encounter with confidence after securing a valuable 1-0 victory over Russia in Cairo last Thursday before traveling to the United States. Egypt will compete in Group G at the World Cup alongside Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran.
