CAIRO, 18 February 2025: Pyramids secured a 1-0 victory over Modern Sport in their match on Monday evening at Al Salam Stadium as part of the 14th round of the Premier League.
The game was fiercely contested, with both teams showing great intensity. In the 9th minute, Mohamed Atef missed a clear scoring opportunity for Modern Sport, which was saved by Pyramids’ goalkeeper Ahmed El Shenawy. Following this, Pyramids took control of the match and created several chances, the most dangerous of which came from Fiston Mayele, but Mahmoud Gennesh made a brilliant save.
In the third minute of stoppage time in the first half, Ibrahim Adel scored the winning goal for Pyramids with a well-placed cross from Mohamed El Shibi.
