CAIRO - 25 July 2017: Egypt ends their group stage in Women’s U-19 Basketball World Cup against Spain on Tuesday; Egyptian team hopes to achieve their second win in the tournament.

Egypt depends on the amazing performance of Miral Abdel Gawad, El Shams Club player, who scored 46 points in the previous two games against Russia and Puerto Rico to lead her teammates to win.

Spain trio, Umi Diallo, Maria Erauncetamurguil and Iris Junio will be the main Spain key players against Egypt.

Egypt lost their opening match in the tournament to Russia but they got their form back against Puerto Rico winning the game 69-52.

Egypt plays in group B alongside Russia, Puerto Rico and Spain; they hope to win their last game against Spain.

USA won the title seven times including six consecutive titles; Soviet Union won the first two editions while Australia and Czech Republic won the title once.
