CAIRO – 24 July 2017: Egyptian deaf-mute national team has defeated the Saudi team 5-1 on Sunday in the decisive game which will determine the team will qualify to the quarter-finals in the Deaflympics held in Turkey.

The goals was scored by Mustafa Abdel Rahman two goals, Hossam Maher goal, Mohamed Abdel Hamid goal and Hamada Yassin goal, the Egyptian played half an hour with 10 players after the referee has gave the Egyptian goalkeeper red card.

Egypt managed to qualify for the quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Venezuela and a 1-0 loss to Turkey the host country before the victory over Saudi Arabia, which guaranteed the team’s qualification.

Ahmed Seddiq the team’s general coordinator and team manage informed Egypt Today that the national team is waiting to know the team will face in the quarter-final which expected to be against France or Germany, the manager of the Egyptian team pointed out that the refereeing was not fair during the game of Turkey the host country in the game that ended with the loss of the Pharaohs for a clean goal.

He concluded his remarks, stressing the existence of enthusiasm and determination of all players and the coaching staff to achieve a new achievement in the Egyptian National Football Team for the deaf-mute.
