Rui Vitória, Egypt national team manager, announced the Pharaohs' squad that will travel to Ivory Coast to participate in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations next January. 

 

Mohamed Salah is leading this generation's dreams of winning the AFCON title after three unsuccessful attempts, including two appearances in the competition's final. 

 

The list included seven Al Ahly players, three Zamalek players, six players from Pyramids and eight foreign-based players.

Egypt plays in group B alongside Ghana, Cape Verde and Mozambique. The Pharaohs will open their participation in the competition on 14 January against Mozambique.
