CAIRO, 5 December 2023: The players listed for the FIFA Club World Cup have been announced by Marcel Koller, the Swiss coach of Al-Ahly Club's first football team.
The FIFA Club World Cup will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from December 12 to 22, 2023. Seven clubs—Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, Al-Ahly of Egypt, Auckland City of New Zealand, Manchester City of England, Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, Leon of Mexico, and Fluminense of Brazil—will compete in the tournament.
Al-Ahly club delegation is expected to depart on a private plane on December 11th. The team will play its first game against Al-Ittihad Jeddah and Auckland City on December 15th of the same month.
Swiss Marcel Kohler, coach of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, announced the list of players scheduled to participate in the Club World Cup.
The city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will host the Club World Cup competitions during the period from 12 to 22 next December, with the participation of 7 clubs: “Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, Al-Ahly, Auckland City of New Zealand, Manchester City of England, Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, Leon of Mexico, and Fluminense of Brazil.”
The Al-Ahly club delegation is scheduled to travel on the 11th of December on a private plane, and the team will play its first match on the 15th of the same month, with the winner of the match against Al-Ittihad Jeddah and Auckland City.

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, and Hamza Alaa.
Defenders: Ali Maaloul, Karim Al-Dabis, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Yasser Ibrahim, Rami Rabia, Mohamed Hani, Khaled Abdel Fattah, and Akram Tawfiq.
Midfielders: Amr Al-Soulia, Aliou Dieng, Emam Ashour, Marawan Attia, Ahmed Nabil Koka, Taher Mohamed Taher, Hussein Al-Shahat, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, and Karim Fouad.
Attackers: Mahmoud Kahraba, Percy Tau, and Anthony Modeste
