CAIRO, 18 April 2022: Al-Ahly achieved a 2-0 victory over Smouha in the match that brought them together on Monday evening at Burg Al Arab Stadium in the 26th round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
Mohamed Sherif and Mahmoud Kahraba scored the red team’s two goals in the 28th & 66th minutes respectively.
Al-Ahly’s balance increased to 53 points at the top of the league, 5 points above the runner-up Future FC, while Smouha’s balance stopped at 31 points in ninth place.
The formation of Al-Ahly came as follows: Mohamed El-Shennawy in the goalkeeper, Khaled Abdel-Fattah, Mahmoud Metwally, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, Mohamed Hani in defense, Amr El-Soulia, Marwan Attia, and Alyo Diang in the middle, and Mohamed Sharif, Percy Tau and Mahmoud Kahraba in the attack.
Smouha’s formation to face Al-Ahly came as follows: Al-Hani Suleiman in goalkeeper, Ahmed Hakam, Ahmed Gamal, Ahmed Shousha, Muhammad Saeed in defense, Mahmoud Halimo, Malik Bouayou, Dokua Dudu, Mustafa Saad Messi, Hussein Faisal in the middle, Hossam Hassan in the attack.
The Reds will continue their preparations for the match against Rajaa Casablanca at Cairo Stadium next Saturday in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
