CAIRO, 10 April 2023: Al-Ahly team will face Pyramids, at 9:15 pm on Monday at Cairo International Stadium, in the 2021/2022 Egyptian Cup final.
The difficulity of the match for the two teams comes from the desire of the two teams to win the title and crown their efforts this season by achieving a precious title.
Al-Ahly is looking to achieve victory over Pyramids and take advantage of the great morale boost after defeating Ghazl El-Mahalla by 3-0 in the league, and before that, beating Al-Hilal of Sudan by 3-0 and qualifying to the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, in order to regain the title absent from Al-Gezira Castle in the last edition.
On the other hand, Pyramids is looking for their first tile in their history especially that the team is well prepared and equipped with the bes players in Egypt.
Al-Ahly wants to achieve the 38th cup title in their career since the establishment of the competition. The Swiss coach Marcel Koller, aim to win his second title with the club after achieving the Egyptian Super title over Zamalek.
