Salah missed Liverpool first pre-match for Visa issues

CAIRO – 14 July 2017: Liverpool won 4-0 over Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday in their first pre- season matches, Salah missed the match for Visa issues.

“Mo Salah is here in training but cannot play because of the rules, so that’s what we have to accept," Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com

Klopp added"“We will try to get the working permission or the visa, I’m not sure what it is we need to get but we have to go to Paris and leave him there for a day or two and then he’ll come back."

Salah travelled to Paris to attend a meeting in the British Embassy there and returned to Liverpool to continue ore season with his new club.

"Due to standard immigration procedure, Salah needed to leave the United Kingdom and return again before he could play for his new club, that process has now been completed, meaning the 25-year-old is available for selection to Jürgen Klopp," Liverpool statement said.
