CAIRO, 23 March 2022: Diaa El-Sayed, the general coach of the Egyptian national team, stressed the readiness of all the Pharaohs' players before facing Senegal.
"We focus on the Senegal match, and we promise to provide a level that satisfies the public and the people of Egypt completely, and to reach the World Cup," said Diaa El-Sayed, who attended the team's training session.
"We promise that the spirit of the team will be heroic and that we will put in a strong performance against Senegal," he added.
He continued, "Senegal is a strong team and has a goal, which is to reach the World Cup, but qualification will be ours, God willing."
He continued, "Our goal is to get to the match, all the players are in good shape, the coach's choices are good, and we must support the players."
"Salah is in good shape and, God willing, he will play against Senegal and score," he stressed.
He continued, "We thank the officials for the attendance of 60,000 fans for the match, and we await their support and encouragement for the players against Senegal."
He continued, "The qualification will be through two matches. We hope that the performance will be good and we will satisfy the fans and make them happy in the Cairo Stadium match."
He pointed out, "The coach of the Egyptian national team is distinguished and has great experience, and we held moral sessions with all the players."
He concluded his statements, "Salah talks with the players continuously, and all the players are in great condition and we hope that everyone is in their condition during the match."
Egypt will meet at 9:30 p.m. next Friday at Cairo Stadium with its Senegalese counterpart.
The return match will be held in Senegal next Tuesday, March 29th in Dakar.
