17 players feature with the Pharaohs for the first time in the 2021 African Nations

CAIRO, 9 January 2022: Egypt will start its African Nations Cup competition on Tuesday, January 11, when it will meet Nigeria, in the second match against Guinea Bissau on January 15, and in the third match on January 19 against Sudan.
 
The Portuguese coach, Carlos Queiroz, coach of the Egyptian national team, chose 26 players in the list of the Egyptian national team, to participate in the African Nations Cup. Hegazy, Mahmoud Hamdi “Al Wensh”, Ayman Ashraf, Marwan Daoud, Ahmed Fattouh, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Mahmoud Alaa, and in the middle: Amr Al-Sulayya, Hamdi Fathi, Imam Ashour, Abdullah Al-Saeed, Muhammad Al-Nani, Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, Muhannad Lashin, and in the attack, Muhammad Sharif and Omar Marmoush, Muhammad Salah, Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, Ramadan Sobhi, Marwan Hamdi, next to Muhammad Abu Jabal, who was infected with Corona.
