CAIRO-1 January 2022: Mohamed Salah, Liverpool Egyptian winger, is not one of the three players, who tested positive for COVID-19, ahead of Liverpool’s showdown against Chelsea in the English Premier League.

The Egyptian winger is ready to support his team in their trip on Sunday to Stamford Bridge, where he started his career in the Premier League.

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, stated in the pre-game press conference that Liverpool will miss three players in the game for COVID-19 but he refused to reveal their names.

According to our sources in the Egyptian national team, the player is safe and ready to play against Chelsea and he will be able to join the national team preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after Sunday’s clash.

The Reds hope to return to winning track after losing on Tuesday to Leicester City 1-0, with the Egyptian missing a penalty in the game.

The Reds are third in the table on 41 points and they are 9 points behind the leaders, Manchester City but Klopp’s men still have one game in hand.
