Animojis to be the new thing

CAIRO – 14 September 2017: If you have watched the Apple press event on Tuesday, you would have witnessed the birth of the newest trend: Animojis.

Each year, we are introduced to various technological trends. It all started with a colon symbol followed by a dash and half a bracket creating a really creepy smiley face :-) —

Everything changed quickly. Emojis came a long way, passing by the xD, ツ and even the Lenny face ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) before entering the era of the countless 2D yellow emojis, which were all deduced to one single emoticon being overused by everyone.

However, that era has just been concluded by Apple announcing the newest emoji feature: “Animojis”, which is set to feature in the iPhone 8. The phone, with a cost of for $699, will be available for pre-orders starting September 15 and will go on sale on September 22.

Animojis will allow you to send 3D emoticons which carry your facial expressions to your friends. This could only leave you wondering where will we go from here.
