CAIRO - 2 August 2017: Minister of Tourism Yehya Rashed received Wednesday new Kazakh Ambassador to Egypt Arman Issagaliyev to discuss boosting cooperation between the two countries in tourism sector.

In a statement, Rashed hailed the increasing tourism mobility with Kazakhstan affirming the vital role of Kazakh tourism market to Egypt.

Several mutual events will be held in the coming period, Rashed noted.

Egyptian Tourist Authority is willing to invite a number of Kazakh tourist editors and tour operators to visit Egypt to be aware of its tourist attractions, Rashed further said.

Rashed underlined the importance of direct and regular air flights to promote tourism between the two countries.

He expressed hope that Egypt would receive million tourists from Kazakhstan soon.

The Kazakh ambassador praised Egyptian attention to Kazakh tourism market.

He lauded the significant participation of the Egyptian tourism ministry in the international Astana EXPO 2017 that took place in Kazakhstan in June.

The Egyptian participation in such an EXPO contributed to promoting Egyptian tourism in Kazakhstan as many Kazakh people were keen on visiting the Egyptian tourist attractions especially Sharm El Shiekh, the diplomat added.

He further said that several flights will be operated to Egypt in the coming period.
