CAIRO - 13 March 2024: There are special juices associated with the holy month of Ramadan, and are stables in Ramadan breakfast meals. 
 
It is always advised to drink juices and water after breaking the fast to compensate lost vitamins, minerals and fluids that the body needs, as well as to refresh and hydrate the body. 
 
Dr. Mohamed Ramadan Al-Gohary, a specialist in food toxins and contaminants at the National Research Center, noted in a medical bulletin the benefits of Ramadan juice, and the following are the most important natural juices that are recommended during the holy month:
 
 
- Qamar al-Din juice:
 
It provides the body with a good amount of water in addition to a wide range of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin A, iron, potassium, and fibre. Qamar al-Din juice is famous for stimulating the digestion process, regulating the work of the intestines, alleviating diarrhea, neutralizing blood acidity, combating anemia, expelling toxins, protecting against cancer, delaying aging, improving the beauty of the skin, and contributing to lowering high blood pressure numbers.
 
 
- Red watermelon juice:
 
It is full of beneficial elements that include water, vitamins, and minerals, in addition to antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals. It is characterized by containing arginine acid, which expels ammonia waste from the body.
 
 
- Pineapple juice:
 
It relieves thirst, helps the body get rid of fat, and protects against the risk of fat accumulating on the walls of the arteries, and thus protects against atherosclerosis, which is the main gateway to the development of clots and heart and cerebral attacks.
 
 
- Fresh orange juice:
 
It is one of the important juices for the body, as it combats the risk of high blood pressure, strengthens the body’s immunity due to its richness in vitamin C, helps build tissues, has anti-inflammatory effects due to its richness in flavonoids, protects against cancer, and helps treat anemia. It enhances the health of the circulatory system.
 
 
- Peach juice:
 
It is rich in water, vitamins, minerals, and other elements that help treat digestive system problems, such as indigestion, gastritis, constipation, and flatulence. Peach juice also helps in strengthening muscles and improving liver and kidney functions, gives freshness and vitality to the skin, and stimulates bile secretions. It regulates blood sugar levels and reduces harmful cholesterol levels in the blood.
