EVA Pharma Enters Strategic Partnership with Microsoft to Implement Digital Transformation, Standards of ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’

CAIRO – 2 November 2021: The agreement includes the provision of a communication and cooperation tools between the teams and the various departments within EVA Pharma, as well as the provision of Microsoft cloud solution (Azure) the leading cloud services provider.

 “The company is keen to develop its information databases and provide a modern technological infrastructure that provides a fully digitized work environment, to make a breakthrough in various products. The company manufactures more than half-a-million healthcare products per day serving patients in more than 40 countries around the world.” Said Dr. Riad Armanios, CEO of EVA Pharma.

Moreover, Armanious added that digital transformation is one of EVA Pharma’s priorities to implement the latest standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which the company is keen to implement as it was shown in the company's partnerships with major healthcare international companies in the manufacturing of modern and innovative healthcare solutions for the benefit of patients globally.

He mentioned EVA Pharma’s plan to harness the latest technological systems known worldwide in the service of scientific research at its research arm, “Mounir Armanious Research Center” (MARC), one of the largest research centers in North Africa.

Michael Mounir, head of digital transformation and information technology at EVA Pharma, said the company will, by relying on top-notch technologies, provide unmatched employee and end-users experiences, as well as cost-efficient and data-driven decision making which will empower EVA Pharma on its agile plans for global reach expansions, and time to market efficiency.

Mounir added that the company is keen to support emerging applications that serve patients and those in need of health care, such as the “Se7etak” and “Limitless” applications, as well as supporting partners of success from doctors and medical staff through the “EVA Rx” application. It provides the latest guidelines for treating various diseases and contributes to the discussion on the latest medical updates and more.

Meanwhile, Mirna Aref, General Manager of Microsoft Egypt, said that the future is companies seeking digital transformation, expecting that this will happen intensively during the next year; Where it will be planned to enhance the capacity of workers by using productivity solutions, thanking EVA Pharma for its confidence in Microsoft products to enhance the work environment.

Engineer Jamal Selim, CEO of Link Data Center, described the cooperation between the two sides as providing a "magical shortcut” to enhance the enterprise’s efficiency, and digital transformation paves the way for a new world full of growth opportunities.

Selim added, in press statements after signing the agreement, that Link Data Center will manage the expansion of the EVA Pharma’s data center, to turn into Azure, one of Microsoft's main platforms, which enables expansion and adds more security to stored data. This system also facilitates the storage and management of data.
