CAIRO - 6 March 2021:Three NFL players arrived on Thursday, March 4, in Egypt to spend their vacation, enjoy the warm sunny weather, open spaces in addition to visiting tourist attractions and archaeological sites.

 

They started their vacation by visiting the Giza Pyramids.

 
 Ms. Nasreen Othmanli, head of the office of the Egypt Tourism Promotion Board Director at Cairo International Airport, received the players and presented them with souvenirs and promotional materials for touristic cities, museums and archaeological sites.
 
 Their tourism program in Egypt includes visiting the most important tourist and archaeological attractions in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and Luxor, including the Citadel of Salah al-Din, the Religious Complex, Historic Cairo, the temples of Luxor, Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and other archaeological sites.
 
 Eng. Ahmed Youssef CEO of the ETPB indicated that they enjoy global fame and a large number of fans in USA and on social media.
 
 
 He added that the multiple visits of famous athletes, or celebrities to Egypt, is a great opportunity to promote Egypt as a tourist destination, as photos and videos of their experience in Egypt are used on various marketing and promotion platforms.
 
He said that it is also an opportunity that they witness  the precautionary measures  and the hygiene safety controls that Egypt implements in hotels, restaurants, museums and archaeological sites, which will have a big impact on encouraging tourists to visit Egypt.
